Is Beamsmile HIPAA compliant? +

Beamsmile is built on HIPAA-compliant architecture. Patient photos, contact details, and concerns are stored exclusively in an isolated, encrypted AWS environment covered by a signed Business Associate Addendum, and every practice signs a BAA with us at activation. Notification emails never contain patient information — only an opaque case number. (Note: no software can be "HIPAA certified" — no such certification exists. What matters is the architecture and the BAAs, and we publish both.)

How long does setup take? +

One sitting. Sign up, add your payment method, upload a profile photo and a few before/after cases, and put your link or widget on your site. Practices typically send their first reply the same day.

Where do patient photos go? +

Directly from the patient's browser to encrypted storage in our secure AWS environment — they never pass through our marketing site, your email, or any third-party messaging tool. Photos are viewable only by your practice through short-lived, signed links.

Do I have to record videos? +

No — and that's deliberate. Video-reply platforms fail because recording a video per lead doesn't survive contact with a real schedule. Beamsmile replies are structured: candidacy, treatment, visits, cost range, plus before/afters from your library. About 30 seconds each.

What does it cost, really? +

$125/month flat. No setup fee, no per-lead pricing, no annual contract, no add-on tiers. Cancel any time from your dashboard.

What happens when a patient sends a request? +

You get a notification email with a case link (no patient details in the email). Open the case in your dashboard, review photos and their goal, send your structured reply. The patient gets an email that their consultation is ready and a booking call-to-action for your practice.

Can patients book appointments through Beamsmile? +

Your reply ends with a booking CTA — tap-to-call your practice or your existing online booking link. Native scheduling is on the roadmap; v1 keeps your current booking flow.

How is my patient data deleted? +

Cases auto-archive after 18 months. You (or a patient, via you) can permanently delete any case at any time from the dashboard — photos and details are hard-deleted immediately; only a PHI-free audit line remains.
